Dr. Muhammad Nazir Shehu Congratulates Three Distinguished HSMB Products on Their Appointment as Permanent Secretaries
The General Manager of the Katsina State Hospital Services Management Board (KTHSMB), Dr. Muhammad Nazir Shehu, on behalf of the Management and Staff of the Board, has extended warm congratulations to three distinguished products of the Board following their appointment as Permanent Secretaries by His Excellency, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, PhD, CON, Executive Governor of Katsina State.
The appointments, approved by the Governor and announced by the Office of the Head of Civil Service, reflect the administration's continued commitment to rewarding competence, integrity, diligence, and excellence in public service.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries with strong ties to the Hospital Services Management Board are:
- Dr. Sani Suleiman: Former Director, Department of Planning, Research and Statistics (DPRS), Katsina State Hospital Services Management Board, and currently Director of Public Health, Katsina State Ministry of Health.
- Dr. Shamsuddeen Yahaya: Executive Secretary, Katsina State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (KSPHCDA).
- Hussaini Hamisu: Former Staff of the Katsina State Hospital Services Management Board.
Dr. Muhammad Nazir Shehu described the appointments as well-deserved recognition of years of dedicated service, professionalism, and exemplary leadership demonstrated by the appointees in the health and public service sectors.
He noted that the appointments also underscore the significant contribution of the Hospital Services Management Board in producing highly competent administrators and health professionals who continue to occupy strategic leadership positions in the Katsina State Civil Service.
According to Dr. Shehu, the appointments are another testament to the visionary leadership of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, whose administration has consistently prioritized merit, accountability, and institutional strengthening as part of its broader public sector reforms.
